The Working Group on Biodiversity of the ETIP HYDROPOWER Secretariat is launching three White Papers covering…

• Environmental flows & hydropeaking: adaptive, ecologically meaningful regimes and holistic, evidence-based approaches.
• Fish mobility: practical upstream/downstream solutions; clear performance criteria; digital monitoring (WFD, Habitats, Eel, Nature Restoration).
• Sediment dynamics: role in habitats & resilience; proven management (flushing, sluicing, venting, replenishment); harmonised standards and source-to-sea thinking.
